preview: skinwalkers (2006)

See grandma kick some ass later this month with the release of Skinwalkers (2006). A story of warring werewolves after the same 12 year old boy (Matthew Knight - young Harry Dresden on “The Dresden Files”). James Isaac (Jason X 2001) hasn’t shown great promise as a director yet, but he has been involved with the special effects and creature creation on some pretty interesting movies (Virtuosity 1995, The Fly 1986 & Gremlins 1984). So there is still hope for him. Leading the cast are Elias Koteas (Crash 1996) as the head of the good pack of werewolves, Jason Behr (“Roswell” 1999-2002) as the head of the bad pack, yummy Rhona Mitra (“The Practice” 2003-2004 & “Boston Legal” 2004-2005) as the boy’s mother and Barbara Gordon (Picture Perfect 1995) as the fore mentioned ass kicking grandma. I’m loving the poster, but the official website only offers the trailer which you can see right here…
