Today marks the 14th anniversary of the death of Brandon Lee, son of legendary martial artist and actor Bruce Lee. Brandon was only 28 years old at the time; he was just finishing up on the movie that would launch his career and scheduled to marry the girl of his dreams in another two weeks. Sadly an on set accident took his life, contributing to the legend that the men in the Lee family were cursed. During his last interview (on the set of the crow) he quoted a passage from Paul Bowles‘ book The Sheltering Sky. Here is that clip…

I think Brandon loved to life. But since `93 he`s free and everywhere. He can see his father perhaps. I think that Brandon had been shot into his back. Now he hasn`t got pain anymore, so he told.
